Claimant awarded £25,000 compensation allowing her dentition to be put back to an acceptable standard
Miss K was provided with inadequate and substandard orthodontic treatment throughout her teenage years.
Originally Miss K had fixed appliances fitted to correct her teeth. When the braces were removed Miss K was left with a gap in her lower teeth and her front upper teeth were no longer central, meaning all her teeth were out of alignment. Further treatment was provided, which also failed.
Miss K required a substantial amount of correct orthodontic and restorative treatment as a result of the substandard treatment she received. The Mistreatment.com panel solicitor successfully secured a compensation award of £25,000 for Miss K, which would allow her to commence corrective treatment and undergo the restorative treatment that she required to put her dentition back to the good standard that it should have been.
